Haylee is a humbled member of Homo sapiens and a cultural chameleon. She spent her formative years in Asia and Australia.
Performance art is her primary field of exploration. Her performances probe into social issues and other aspects of the human condition that compel her to create. It is one of her goals to approach those topics with criticality and empathy. She performs with a distinctly vulnerable and delicate style of delivery, mixed with an either subtle or robust emotional flow. Cultural references, metaphorical display and emotional depth are consistently manifested in her works.
Non-institutionally trained in art, she undertook divergent yet rewarding academic journeys through journalism, fashion and psychology, eventually embraced the full circle of life, and has started practising art since 2020.
Additionally, she writes poems when the sky turns grey.
